Who owns Event Express?

Event Express is privately owned and has no affiliation to any hotel company, so there are no biases as to where business is placed.

How do I book?

Bookings can be made through our bespoke online booking forms, by telephone or by email. Often where Event Express is the official accommodation agent for an event or exhibition, our booking forms can be found on the event website or within the exhibitor zone. If you require a group booking, you can email our group reservations team directly.

How much does the service cost?

Nothing. The Event Express service is completely free to use with no booking or transaction fees. Event Express earns money through commission paid by hotels in return for bookings. Event Express will request credit/debit card information at the time of booking, however this information is used as a guarantee only.

How do I pay for my accommodation?

Usually, clients settle their own bills on departure at the hotel. If you would like to pre-pay for your accommodation, this can be arranged with the hotel via credit card or BACS transfer.

I need accommodation but I won’t know my exact requirements until nearer the check-in date. If I book now, will I get charged for amendments or cancellations?

No, unless specified all bookings made through Event Express are booked on a flexible rate, so you can make changes to your booking at no charge until nearer to the event date. If a cancellation is received within the cancellation policy or a guest does not arrive, the hotel may charge for the first nights’ stay.

Can Event Express make bookings at any hotel?

Yes, however Event Express will not make reservations at Guest Houses and B&B’s as there is no guarantee of quality or service.

Does Event Express make bookings overseas?

Yes. Event Express has access to a wide range of discounted rates at over 5000 hotels overseas.

What data does Event Express store when I make a booking, and for how long?

Event Express will securely store your booking information for a period of 18 months from your final arrival date. Event Express does not store any credit card details on file. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
